Accommodation in Oxford


House: If you are looking for last minute accommodation, we have two rooms available in a house on Osney Lane for Friday and Saturday night.  If you would like one of these rooms, please text Martin Cooles at 07595445549 or Anne Theibert at 001 205 335 8183.

Colleges: There are a variety of affordable rooms available within the Oxford colleges.  Rooms typically have a single or double bed, sometimes have an ensuite bathroom, and cost between £35-£100 a night.  To book a room in one of the many Oxford colleges, please visit University Rooms.  Please note that some colleges, such as St. Hugh's, are located up to a 20 minute walk from Trinity and the center of town.  You can find a map of the colleges here.

Due to summer schools, rooms in Trinity College are extremely limited, and may not be available at all.  If you want to ensure affordable rooms in an Oxford college, we recommend that you book a room in another college through University Rooms.  If you would like try to book with Trinity, please contact the college at +44 1865 279900 in mid-June.



Self-Catering: In the summer holidays, Oxford offers apartment and cottage rentals.  These can be particularly appealing if you're traveling with a family or group.  AirBNB, Holiday Lettings and Owners Direct have a variety of options, from studio apartments to 6 bedroom houses.  Prices vary according to size and location.  If you plan to stay for at least a week, Penny and Sinclair offer several short-term letting options.  Most rentals within Oxford's ring road will be accessible to the city center on foot or by bus.  If you'd like to go further afield, Cottages for You offers cottages for rent in the Cotswold countryside. 

Hotels: Central Oxford provides many hotel options.  Some of the most popular include the Malmaison, where you can stay in a former prison, the Macdonald Randolph, and the Old Bank.  Rooms at the Malmaison start at £245, the Randolph starts at £230, and the Old Bank starts at £245. To compare prices on a variety of centrally located hotels, see Kayak and Trivago.  Please note that some of these hotels will only take booking for at least two consecutive nights on weekends in the summer.

For bed and breakfast style accommodation the Old Parsonage, which starts at £290, and, slightly further afield, the Cotswold Lodge, which starts at £145, both offer luxury B&B accommodation.   Other popular B&Bs include Burlington House, Holywell Bed and Breakfast, the Osney Arms.w The Osney Arms starts at £96 a night, while Lakeside, another popular B&B, starts at £102 per night.  You can find a variety of other affordable B&B options at Trivago and Trip Advisor.

Many of these hotels sell out in advance, so please book early to ensure the best rooms at the best rates.
